His latest publications include Saffron Robes: A Photographic Essay on Buddhist Monks which includes vibrant images from 14 different countries and Tilaka: The Spiritual Third Eye an exotic photographic exploration of the use of tilaka (the forehead symbol)in diverse cultural contexts. At the moment he is finishing two more photography books on different themes . When Tilak is not traveling on assignment, he resides in Manila and conducts monthly photography workshops. As an ex-chemical engineer, Tilak is able to superbly blend the science and art of photography. He is currently a member of the prestigious Camera Club of the Philippines and a faculty member of the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI). There he conducts his solo lecture series on Inner Vision. |
