The Saffron robe is the dark orange colored attire of the Buddhist monks of South and Southeast Asian countries of Cambodia, Nepal, Laos, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam. It conforms in every respect to those that were worn by the illustrious forebears in the early days of the Buddhist community.
